About the Founder

Joshua Duboff is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Sports Business Exchange. His interest in creating a journal for young sports business professionals stems from the completion of his college thesis paper. Duboff is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he received a degree in Sport Management and a degree in Political Science. During his time at the University of Massachusetts, Duboff worked as a student assistant for the Men’s Hockey team and served as the school’s mascot, Sam the Minuteman. During his tenure as mascot, Duboff received many accolades including being named to the 2005 Capital One All-America Mascot Team, Playboy.com Mascot of the Month, and finishing in the top 10 several times at the National Cheerleading Association Mascot Nationals. Upon his unveiling as the mascot, the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band made Duboff a Honorary Band Member.

Professionally, Duboff focuses his efforts on sports marketing, campus marketing, and sponsorship with a focus in college athletics. Duboff currently resides in New York City. Email Joshua Duboff here.

    What is TSBX?

    The Sports Business Exchange is a sports business trade journal for young sports business professionals. All articles are submitted and written by young professionals in the sports business industry. The journal is an opportunity for research and insights from young sports business professionals on their industry. Whether it be an article about sponsorship, marketing, media, professional sports, collegiate sports, sport finance, player representation, venues and facilities, or a variety of other sport business-related topics, The Sports Business Exchange is the only journal devoted purely to young sports business professionals.
