Things That Don’t Make Sense

question-markThere are many scientific observations that simply defy explanation. In 2005, News Science listed 13 thirteen scientific observations that defied explanation. News Science recently released a new list of “13 Things That Don’t Make Sense.”

There are things in sports business that don’t make sense either. These may be illogical contracts, obscure sponsorship deals, partnerships that shouldn’t be mutually beneficial but work, and anything and everything in between. The Sports Business Exchange wants to know what are some observations in sports business that defy explanation.

  1. How about the whole idea of PSLs? You’re paying for the right to pay for a seat. That defies all logic to me.

  2. The BCS needs to be fixed really badly. The system doesn’t work. That Big 12 fiasco last year was a complete mess.
