Review of the first Business of Sports Networking Event in Boston

by TSBX | July 27th, 2009

The first ever Boston Business of Sports Networking Event was held last week at Clarke’s in Faneuil Hall. Although severe weather deterred a few networkers, those that made it out certainly found the event worthwhile. Sports Business Professionals began arriving even before the event was scheduled to begin. Three hours later, only one person had left. Everyone was talking to everyone. The duration of the event easily topped any event we have had to date. We had representatives from a variety of industries including telecommunications, sports radio, new media, golf, basketball, and journalism/PR. Everyone enjoyed the experience and many were inquiring about the next event.

For those in New York, our next event will be August 13th. Our last event in New York garnered over 100 sports business professionals. Registration for the next event can be found at The Business of Sports’ Events Page.
